Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and networks for state agencies.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal cybersecurity standards and data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade systems and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular system audits and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Train junior staff and provide technical guidance on emerging technologies.
- Manage project lifecycles from planning to deployment and post-implementation support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT support or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, server management, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or PMP are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
- Experience working in a government or large enterprise environment is a plus.
