Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level software applications and infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% system uptime for county operations.
- Project Management: Oversee IT projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
- Compliance: Ensure all technical solutions meet strict local, state, and federal government compliance standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior analysts and conduct technical training sessions for department staff.
- Innovation: Research and recommend emerging technologies to modernize county workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis or software engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). Experience with Agile methodologies is required.
- Certifications: PMP, TOGAF, or AWS Solutions Architect certification is highly preferred.
