Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure including Cisco and Juniper systems
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA standards
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments with emphasis on scalability
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system outages and incident response coordination
- Develop automation scripts using Python/Ansible to optimize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital transformation projects
- Document technical procedures and create disaster recovery protocols
- Mentor junior IT staff and conduct system audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), SAN storage, and backup solutions
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments
- Experience with government IT procurement processes and compliance frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to work occasional after-hours emergencies
