Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure across 50+ county facilities
- Lead cloud migration projects for critical public safety applications
- Manage cybersecurity protocols and incident response procedures
- Coordinate with vendors to optimize enterprise hardware and software solutions
- Develop disaster recovery plans ensuring 99.9% system uptime
- Mentor junior IT staff and implement best practice documentation
- Collaborate with department heads to align technology with strategic goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in enterprise infrastructure management
- Certification in AWS/Azure and cybersecurity (CISSP/CISM)
- Experience with government compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Advanced knowledge of network security protocols and encryption
- Proven project leadership with $500K+ budgets
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Texas driver's license required
