Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of IT projects from initiation through deployment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage complex budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to ensure project delivery on time and within scope.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, conducting regular status meetings and presenting progress reports to executive leadership.
- Ensure strict compliance with City policies, state regulations, and IT governance standards.
- Implement and manage Agile and Waterfall methodologies to optimize project workflows and team performance.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues proactively to minimize impact on city services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects in a government or large enterprise environment.
- Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong expertise in Citrix, AWS, or similar cloud technologies is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
