Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycles for critical municipal IT systems (ERP, CRM, cybersecurity)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including vendors, city departments, and external stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ budgets with strict adherence to public sector compliance standards
- Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies for 15+ concurrent projects
- Develop detailed risk mitigation plans for infrastructure security initiatives
- Produce executive dashboards and compliance reports for city council
- Mentor junior project managers in public sector best practices
Qualifications
- 8+ years IT project management experience with government/public sector focus
- PMP or PgMP certification required
- Proven success managing enterprise-scale technology implementations
- Expertise in federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP)
- Advanced proficiency in Jira, MS Project, and SharePoint
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Clearable background investigation and US citizenship
- Experience with Atlanta municipal systems preferred
