Responsibilities
- Lead complex IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate project status effectively to executive leadership.
- Oversee project budgets and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
- Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies to optimize development cycles.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding IT procurement and implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- PMP or CAPM certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive project management experience in the public sector or large enterprise.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project and Jira.
- Experience with state government processes is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
