Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT project lifecycles for statewide infrastructure initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams of developers, engineers, and stakeholders
- Manage project budgets exceeding $5M with rigorous financial oversight
- Implement Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of critical systems
- Ensure compliance with California IT security and accessibility standards
- Develop detailed project documentation and executive progress reports
- Drive digital transformation initiatives serving 40M+ Californians
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience managing complex IT projects in government or regulated industries
- PMP or PgMP certification mandatory
- Expertise in enterprise-scale infrastructure modernization projects
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project
- Deep understanding of CA IT security policies (FISMA, NIST)
- Track record of delivering projects on budget and ahead of schedule
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
