Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycles for enterprise systems, including budget oversight and vendor management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, Finance, Public Safety, and Health Services departments
- Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver projects on accelerated timelines
- Develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies and change management plans
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (NIST, FISMA) and county policies
- Present executive-level dashboards and progress reports to County leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive IT project management experience with government/public sector
- Active PMP certification or equivalent Prince2/Agile credentials
- Proven track record managing multi-million dollar technology implementations
- Expertise in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems migration
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills across diverse organizational levels
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, and project management software suites
