Responsibilities
- Lead complex IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with agency goals and federal regulations.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
- Ensure strict compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and IT security standards (e.g., FedRAMP).
- Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and sprint planning to drive team efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all project artifacts and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects in the government, military, or public sector.
- Active PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of federal compliance standards, ITIL best practices, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for high-level stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets exceeding $1M and lead teams of 5+ members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
