Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with client objectives and government mandates.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to mitigate potential delays.
- Facilitate clear communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and government officials to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Ensure strict compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and security protocols (NIST/CISSP).
- Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies to drive efficiency and quality delivery.
- Mentor junior project managers and lead daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the government contracting or IT sector.
- Proven experience managing software development lifecycles (SDLC) and large-scale infrastructure deployments.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- PMP or PgMP certification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of federal security standards (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53).
