Responsibilities
- Lead & Manage: Direct end-to-end project management for complex IT initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for government officials, vendors, and cross-functional teams, translating technical concepts into clear business value.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity and compliance.
- Agile Implementation: Foster an Agile environment, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
- Resource Allocation: Manage project resources effectively, ensuring the right talent is assigned to the right tasks for maximum productivity.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including risk registers, status reports, and architectural overviews.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in IT Project Management, preferably within the government or public sector.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification is required; Prince2 or Agile certifications are highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), and modern project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Confluence).
- Remote Work: Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting with strong time management skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Compliance: Must be willing to undergo a standard background check and government security clearance process.
