Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, vendors, and state agency stakeholders, to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular status updates, risk assessments, and clear communication.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee resource allocation, budget management, and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain strict adherence to state and federal government procurement and compliance standards.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprints, Retrospectives) to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management within a government, military, or large enterprise environment.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) or CAPM certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or ServiceNow.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain a Level II background check and security clearance.
