Responsibilities
- Lead complex IT projects from concept through deployment, ensuring alignment with state strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Ensure all project activities comply with state procurement policies and regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior project managers and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional Project Management Professional (PMP) or PgMP certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects in a government or large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Proven experience with Agile methodologies and Waterfall frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
