Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security protocols to protect federal networks and sensitive data.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify potential weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with federal agencies during cybersecurity breaches.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST, FISMA, and other federal cybersecurity regulations.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and training programs for staff.
- Collaborate with IT operations teams to integrate security solutions into existing infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Active Federal Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, preferably within Federal or State Government sectors.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal compliance frameworks and government contracting regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
