Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain enterprise security protocols across state networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Lead incident response for security breaches
- Develop security awareness training for state employees
- Manage firewall and intrusion detection systems
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (FISMA, NIST)
- Collaborate with IT teams on secure architecture design
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 5+ years in enterprise security administration
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure)
- Strong incident documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
