Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of NIST cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Develop incident response protocols for cyber threats targeting national infrastructure
- Maintain compliance with FISMA and CUI regulations
- Train federal personnel on security best practices
- Collaborate with DHS and partner agencies on threat intelligence
- Manage security audits and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT security roles
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification
- Expert knowledge of FedRAMP and CMMC standards
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Ability to work in high-pressure incident response scenarios
