Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network systems.
- Implement and monitor stringent cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Provide advanced Tier 3 technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance assessments, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to drive IT project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Strong proficiency with network protocols, virtualization technologies (VMware), and cloud services.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret level preferred).
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment.
