Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the agency's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN).
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect federal data and systems from cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy new IT solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal IT policies, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to optimize efficiency.
- Mentor junior staff members and provide technical guidance on complex projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or network administration within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a favorable background investigation.
