Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs for security anomalies during off-peak hours.
- Implement and maintain security protocols in accordance with DoD and NIST standards.
- Respond to security alerts and incidents, ensuring rapid containment and resolution.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and perform routine patch management on federal systems.
- Document all security events and maintain accurate audit trails.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or higher (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Familiarity with federal regulations, CUI, and FISMA.
