Responsibilities
- Lead Project Delivery: Manage end-to-end software development lifecycles for federal contracts, ensuring adherence to Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Security Compliance: Oversee compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST standards to protect sensitive government data.
- Technical Architecture: Design and implement scalable cloud solutions (AWS/Azure) and on-premise infrastructure.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary technical liaison between federal agencies and development teams, translating complex requirements into actionable technical plans.
- System Modernization: Drive digital transformation initiatives, upgrading legacy systems to modern, user-friendly platforms.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Certifications: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance required; CISSP or PMP certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in IT project management or systems engineering within a federal or state government environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, or .NET; extensive experience with cloud computing platforms and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to senior leadership.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of resolving complex technical challenges.
