Responsibilities
- Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Design, code, and test complex web applications and backend systems using modern technologies.
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards, including FISMA and NIST guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship to junior developers, and document system architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of analysts, security specialists, and project managers.
- Identify system vulnerabilities and implement robust cybersecurity measures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot legacy systems while integrating new modernization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle software development and systems analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
