Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's central computing infrastructure and network systems.
- Implement and monitor robust security protocols to protect sensitive state data.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for government staff.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with state regulations and cybersecurity standards.
- Collaborate with department heads to streamline digital workflows and upgrade legacy systems.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate records of system changes.
- Train junior staff and mentor team members on best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server environments and Linux administration.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a state security clearance.
- Strong communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
