Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal government network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues.
- Ensure compliance with NIST security frameworks and federal IT governance policies.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and security audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new IT solutions and upgrades.
- Document all system configurations, incidents, and resolutions in accordance with documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen and hold an Active Secret Clearance.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT systems administration within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, and TCP/IP networking.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Security+, or CISSP preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure with minimal supervision.
