Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's server infrastructure, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and monitor robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive federal data and ensure compliance with government standards.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and support end-user hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and regular patch management to ensure system integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and develop scalable IT solutions.
- Document system configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures for team reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration or IT support within a government or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP networking.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
