Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local data security regulations and standards.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new software solutions and updates.
- Conduct regular system audits and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in systems administration within a government or corporate environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or CCNA.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
