Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and infrastructure projects for city departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsâincluding policy makers and IT staffâto define technical requirements and translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
- Conduct thorough system performance testing, security audits, and capacity planning to ensure 99.9% uptime for critical government services.
- Maintain and update comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for internal staff and external government stakeholders.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Masterâs degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, architecture, or a related technical role.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with government frameworks, data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA), and secure system design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, or AWS Solutions Architect are a plus.
