Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and software solutions for state agencies.
- Conduct thorough system analysis, identify performance bottlenecks, and drive optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with state security standards, data privacy regulations, and ITIL best practices.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and mentorship to junior analysts and developers.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party software integrations.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and present progress reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis, infrastructure, or a related field within a government or enterprise environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional certification such as CISSP, Security+, or PMP is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
- Proven experience with enterprise infrastructure management, network security protocols, and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
