Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and applications to meet state business requirements.
- Conduct thorough requirement gathering and stakeholder management to ensure project success.
- Oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of critical system issues with a focus on uptime and performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and process flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and enhance existing platforms.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior analysts and development staff.
- Ensure compliance with state security policies, IT governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, architecture, or software development.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern programming languages.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary state security clearances.
