Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and implement enterprise-level IT systems to support state agency operations
- Lead system integration projects and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business objectives
- Develop comprehensive documentation including system architectures and user guides
- Ensure compliance with state security protocols and industry standards
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies for adoption
- Provide technical guidance to junior analysts and project stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT systems analysis and design
- Proficiency in database management (SQL, Oracle) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Washington State residency required at time of hire
