Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for government systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust IT infrastructure solutions to support municipal operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and data integrity across various departments.
- Conduct thorough system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and IT staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government cybersecurity and data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in IT systems analysis or software development.
- Proven experience working within a government or public sector environment is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and one or more major database management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary government security clearances.
