Responsibilities

  • Administer and process pension calculations, including retirement, disability, and death benefits, in strict accordance with CalPERS regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pension administration, public sector benefits, or actuarial science.
  • Strong working knowledge of California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) rules and regulations is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS or ERP software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive financial data with the utmost confidentiality.
