Responsibilities
- Develop and draft high-impact policy papers on levelling-up initiatives
- Provide expert advice to ministers and senior civil servants
- Stakeholder engagement with local authorities and private sector partners
- Monitor implementation of government regeneration programmes
- Analyse complex socio-economic data to inform policy decisions
- Represent the department at cross-government working groups
Qualifications
- First-class honours degree or equivalent in economics, public policy, or related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in policy development within central/local government
- Expert knowledge of UK housing markets and regeneration frameworks
- Exceptional written communication with proven briefing note drafting ability
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS)
- Valid UK security clearance (or ability to obtain SC clearance)
