Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate municipal policies using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Analyze legislative impacts and regulatory compliance requirements
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to implement strategic initiatives
- Present findings to city council members and senior leadership
- Manage public consultation processes and stakeholder engagement
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps
- Monitor emerging trends in urban governance and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Deep knowledge of Minnesota state regulations and federal compliance
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proven project management with complex interdepartmental initiatives
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
