Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive urban policy frameworks aligned with NYC's 2050 sustainability goals
- Analyze complex zoning regulations and recommend legislative improvements
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on affordable housing initiatives
- Prepare detailed economic impact assessments for major infrastructure projects
- Manage public consultation processes and stakeholder engagement strategies
- Oversee implementation of equitable transit-oriented development policies
- Prepare executive briefings for City Council and Mayoral offices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Urban Planning, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years experience in municipal government or urban planning
- Expertise in NYC zoning regulations and land use law
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software and spatial analysis tools
- Proven track record leading public policy initiatives
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
