Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex state policies across healthcare, education, and economic development sectors
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations for executive leadership review
- Prepare comprehensive legislative briefings and public testimony materials
- Coordinate inter-agency task forces and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Monitor federal regulatory changes impacting Kentucky residents
- Lead cross-functional projects with 5+ agency partners
- Maintain compliance with Kentucky Administrative Regulations (KAR)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in developing evidence-based policy recommendations
- Kentucky government experience preferred
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines
