Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory impacts on Bay Area communities
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations for technology infrastructure projects
- Coordinate with local government officials and community stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative testimony
- Manage grant programs supporting regional innovation initiatives
- Conduct economic impact assessments for public-private partnerships
- Lead cross-functional task forces on sustainability and smart city projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sectors
- Expertise in California state legislative processes and budget cycles
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Proven stakeholder engagement and coalition-building experience
- CA driver's license and ability to travel statewide
