Responsibilities
- Analyze local, state, and federal policies to assess impacts on Dallas communities
- Research emerging trends and best practices in urban governance
- Develop policy briefs and recommendations for city leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to implement strategic initiatives
- Present findings to elected officials and public stakeholders
- Monitor legislative changes and regulatory compliance requirements
- Lead community engagement sessions to gather public input
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Python)
- Knowledge of Texas municipal governance structures
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events
