Responsibilities
- Develop and implement county-wide public health strategies aligned with CDC guidelines and state mandates
- Oversee emergency preparedness and response initiatives for health crises
- Manage grant funding totaling $2M+ annually for community health programs
- Lead cross-departmental health equity initiatives targeting underserved populations
- Analyze health data to inform policy recommendations and program adjustments
- Supervise 15+ public health professionals and coordinate with external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and local health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health management experience
- Valid Missouri Public Health Administrator certification
- Demonstrated success managing grants and budgets over $1M
- Expertise in health equity frameworks and community engagement strategies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in health data interpretation
- Exceptional crisis management and emergency response background
- Proficiency in public health information systems (e.g., Epi-Info, SAS)
