Responsibilities
- Analyze public health data trends to identify emerging health risks and inform strategic planning
- Develop evidence-based reports and policy recommendations for city leadership
- Coordinate cross-departmental health initiatives with local, state, and federal partners
- Oversee grant-funded programs ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead community outreach efforts to address health disparities in underserved neighborhoods
- Manage public health emergency response protocols and incident command systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in government/public health administration
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Valid Kentucky driver's license and ability to travel to community sites
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) designation preferred
- Demonstrated experience with federal grant management (CDC, HRSA)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with ability to present complex data
