Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data to identify trends and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Develop and implement community health assessment plans for Raleigh neighborhoods
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers to improve health outcomes and resource accessibility
- Create comprehensive reports and presentations for county leadership and stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded public health initiatives and ensure compliance with state regulations
- Mentor junior staff and lead cross-departmental health improvement projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health data analysis and program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping tools
- Valid North Carolina Public Health Analyst certification
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex data to diverse audiences
- Knowledge of Healthy People 2030 objectives and NC public health frameworks
