Responsibilities
- Analyze population health data to identify trends and inform policy recommendations
- Design and implement evidence-based public health interventions
- Lead interagency collaborations for emergency preparedness initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Present findings to legislative bodies and community stakeholders
- Mentor junior analysts and develop departmental reporting frameworks
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and ROI metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of public health analysis experience in government/NGO settings
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS) and GIS mapping
- Experience with Tennessee Code Annotated and federal grant management
- PH certification or eligible for certification within 6 months
- Demonstrated success in translating data into actionable policy
- Strong project management with PMP or equivalent certification preferred
