Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data to identify trends and inform strategic initiatives
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for community health improvement
- Coordinate multi-agency health programs and emergency response protocols
- Manage grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding $2M
- Present findings to legislative bodies and community stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional teams of public health specialists
- Ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations (HIPAA, CA Health & Safety Code)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health program analysis
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) credential required
- Demonstrated experience with grant management and budget oversight
- Strong knowledge of California's public health infrastructure
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
