Responsibilities
- Analyze complex epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform strategic policy decisions
- Design and implement community health assessment programs targeting underserved populations
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships for disease surveillance and outbreak response
- Develop grant proposals securing $500K+ in annual funding for public health initiatives
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute evidence-based health education campaigns
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state legislators and public health stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CDC, and state public health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health analysis experience in government/nonprofit settings
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS, R, or SAS with statistical modeling expertise
- Proven track record managing grants exceeding $250K
- Valid California Public Health Analyst certification (CPHA)
- Demonstrated experience with community health assessment methodologies
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills for policy advocacy
- Ability to obtain security clearance for sensitive health data access
