Responsibilities
- Design and execute epidemiological surveillance systems for infectious disease outbreaks
- Analyze health data trends to identify emerging public health threats
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for state health initiatives
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response protocols during health crises
- Manage community health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Oversee grant compliance for federal/state public health funding
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing public health interventions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Advanced proficiency in SAS, R, or SPSS for statistical analysis
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent certification
- Demonstrated experience with CDC/ADHS reporting protocols
- Expertise in emergency preparedness and response frameworks
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Proficiency in Spanish (preferred)
