Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health intervention programs targeting at-risk populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and disease outbreaks
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers, community organizations, and state agencies
- Prepare detailed reports and policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding $500,000
- Lead community outreach initiatives and public health education campaigns
- Monitor compliance with federal/state healthcare regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program analysis or epidemiology
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state funding processes
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) designation preferred
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional stakeholder collaboration
- Knowledge of Florida public health statutes and CMS regulations
