Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify disease trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop evidence-based public health interventions for diverse communities
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+
- Present findings to community stakeholders and elected officials
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise program implementation
- Ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years analyzing health data using SAS/R/Python
- Experience with public health emergency response protocols
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Knowledge of CA health equity initiatives
- Strong grant management experience
- Ability to communicate complex data to non-technical audiences
- Valid CA driver's license
