Responsibilities
- Oversee design and execution of municipal infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, and utilities
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new development initiatives
- Manage engineering contracts and vendor relationships ensuring compliance with state regulations
- Prepare technical specifications and cost estimates for capital improvement projects
- Lead cross-functional teams including contractors, consultants, and government agencies
- Ensure ADA compliance and environmental sustainability in all engineering designs
- Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public works or municipal engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Arizona
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS mapping software
- Experience with federal/state grant applications and compliance
- Demonstrated project management with $1M+ budgets
- Strong knowledge of Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
