Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of municipal infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, water systems)
- Manage project budgets exceeding $5M with strict compliance protocols
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives with state and federal agencies
- Conduct site inspections and ensure ADA/FEMA compliance
- Prepare technical documentation for public hearings and regulatory submissions
- Mentor junior engineers and supervise field teams
- Implement sustainable infrastructure solutions aligned with city resilience goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- 5+ years of municipal/public sector engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oklahoma
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS mapping systems
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification
- Demonstrated experience with federal grant reporting (FHWA/EPA)
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean record
- Emergency management training certification preferred
