We seek a visionary leader to modernize critical infrastructure while maintaining environmental compliance and community engagement standards. This hybrid position offers flexibility with 2 remote days/week and requires collaboration with engineering, finance, and community stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage $5M+ capital improvement projects including roadways, bridges, and utilities
- Oversee project lifecycle from RFP to closeout ensuring adherence to county policies
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and regulatory agencies (DOT, EPA)
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead public meetings and community outreach initiatives
- Implement sustainable infrastructure solutions
- Maintain compliance with federal/state/local regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience in public works or infrastructure
- PMP certification or Georgia PE license required
- Experience with infrastructure asset management systems
- Proven track record managing $3M+ capital projects
- Knowledge of Georgia DOT and EPA regulations
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Valid Georgia driver's license
